Margaret Perrin is a born-again Christian woman who lives in New Orleans with her husband Barry, two daughters, and a six-year old granddaughter named Abigail. Margaret admits that she is a queen, and if she isn’t happy nobody is. She controls the house. Barry tries to give Margaret her way to keep her happy. Margaret appreciates how passive Barry is, and how much he work he does around the house. He’s the handyman, pool boy, yard boy, and he takes the garbage out. He’s only had one sexual partner in his life, and that’s his wife. Margaret constantly talks to God, and claims that He talks to her and she can hear him. The Flisher family lives in Foxborough, Massachusetts, outside of Boston. They are spiritual, but unconventional people who are open to the non-traditional. Jeanne has two kids, Elliot and Emma, and her husband Chris has a son named Miles. She is a certified hypnotherapist who is involved in astrology and past-life regression. Over dinner the family discusses what the stars have in store for them.
