At the end of season four screened
in december 2007 As the credits were rolling,
the narrator of tv2 said nip/tuck will be back.
in february 2008... but it's not gonna happen. so what the hell......

BUT apart from that a pretty good line up i think. I love the show 'dirt' with Courtney CoxArquette- returning next year meaning a new season or just that the show will continue on into the new year?

If TV2 can't catch up to TV3 with this lot then there's something seriously wrong.
Just look at the new comedy they have this year - Big Bang Theory and Sammantha Who. And Chuck too. I hate to say it but TV3 got this year very very wrong.

Shortland Street is in the "returning shows" video, it just wasn't included in the list. Maybe information about Shortland Street 2008 will be released after the killer is revealed next month.

yes TV3 does, but not all shows on a network are produced or distributed by that network. Sarah Connor is produced by Warner bros. which TVNZ has the contract with warner bros who also produce Men In Trees, Pushing Daisies & Two and a half men and a few others including Fox shows you would have seen on TV2 e.g The O.C & Mad TV. another example is boston legal on tv3 an abc show but produced and distributed by 20th century fox. i believe there is also another abc but fox produced show on tv3 next year.

I hope they get their scheduling right next year (ie play shows ASAP after US air dates + give shows timeslots they deserve, like what reece_555 said). I gotta say the ABC contract is the only thing keeping TV2 "2gether". Pushing Daises and Private Practice are good shows (PD is AMAZING!) and Gossip Girl is the new OC. This lineup is pretty good and makes up for the crap on TV ONE.

What I don't like in the "Returning Shows" video is that they have remixed the DHW video...it was awesome the way it was....I didn't think TVNZ would go as low to edit it completely - it's pointless!

TV2 always have the best line ups for the next year but i wish they wouldnt put cancelled uncompleted shows on primetime e.g the nine & Traveller which is starting soon so hopefully Viva Laughlin doesnt see primtime either.
