Does anybody know what the song is called or singers name that is on Vibe's new commercial where they show bits of House, Ghost Whisperer, Desperate Housewives (and some others) all at once? Quite a long ad and a male singing the song. goes something like this" you bring out the best in me....... you amaze me..."

cool song, would love to know what its called. Tried contacting Sky, but they said they only had an item number, nothing about the song or artist.

Are you comfortable with it?

When two year old Aisling Symes went missing in Auckland in October last year, the news media were all over the story. We all knew her face, where she went missing, what she was wearing.  Everyone was talking about her disappearance.

Aside from the fact that it was news and the kind of horrible news that, to be blunt, gets people tuning in, the media was useful in trying to help get her found - with people calling the police with potential sightings and information as a result.

Wasn't her story the leading item on the news with live crosses galore?

Why hasn't this been the case with four year old Lucas Ward in Gisborne?
(Is it because he's not in Auckland and it's "too hard" to bring us the news?)

At 6pm tonight, Lucas had been missing for 27 hours.

So there were five people shortlisted in Glassons Wildcard competition for a spot in the Top 33.

Those finalists were:

Aleisha, Tara Weston-Webb, Aafreen Vaz, Najlaa and Elle Hughes.

By all accounts, Aafreen Vaz is in the Top 14 but I'm interested in knowing what the deal was with both Elle and Tara.  They are two names that appeared during the show who's surnames we didn't know.

Can anyone shed some light on this?  Were there in fact 3 of the five finalists in the Top 33?  Were the other two, two of three girls un-named in the season premiere.

Update: Elle Hughes is also from Blenheim

Can anyone in the know tell me when season 9 of smallville will screen in new zealand.

Or will i have to buy it from ebay?

In light of the fact that Kieran Mitchell's cliff side demise was incredibly unoriginal and certainly not the first time a character had been terminated in that way we thought it would be fun to open up the discussion as to how you would kill off a Shortland Street character.
