Kirsty Parkhill - Exit Interview
Despite the belief by both Nicky Clarke and Karen Reid that it should have been Catherine Livingstone in the boardroom last night instead of them, Kirsty Parkhill is adamant Catherine wasn't the one responsible for Athena's loss which ultimately saw her fired on The Apprentice New Zealand this week.
"I think Catherine is a very vocal competitor who brings a lot to the table." Kirsty told us this morning. "She bought a lot to the table and spoke up when she believed in something and I believe that's a strength. A lot of the time Catherine puts her head on the block because she puts everything into a task and she does say what she thinks, and besides, I felt she had my back."

1.Which would be the first two programmes in the current or forthcoming schedules you’d take an axe to (either spike them, or drastically cut back)?
The two shows we would take the axe to would be One News and Close Up. Reduce the 6pm bulletin to 30 minutes. Considering 15 minutes of the 60 minute bulletin is typically weather that shouldn't be too difficult. Get rid of the pointless live crosses to people standing in locations where something happened hours ago and/or nothing is happening at all now. Use one anchor.
