What's Really In Our Food? Season 2 Finale

8:00pm - Tuesday, November 10 on TV 3
Petra Bagust looks at most people's number one guilty pleasure - chocolate - when the highly informative local series What's Really In Our Food? concludes its second season on Tuesday, November 10th at 8pm on 3.
What's Really In Our Food? investigates the food we eat, exploring the benefits and risks and debunking some of the popular myths or misunderstandings surrounding so many food products.
"There's so much confusion about what's good or bad for you," says TV3's Head of Factual Production Sue Woodfield about the different choices of food we're all faced with everyday.
What's Really in Our Food? finds out where our food comes from and how it is made, and along the way demystifies the science, tests the ingredients and translates the labels.
"We're really proud of this series which is fun, but also gives you real information on which to base your choice of what to eat," Woodfield adds about the series that over the season has exposed biscuits, nuts, beef, cheese, and wine to mention only a few.
And the revelations don't end there, this week's season finale looks at chocolate! We all know chocolate is hard to resist, but why?
This week Petra sets out to find out what's in chocolate that makes it so desirable, and hopes to find some nutritional evidence that will justify our appetite for one of our most sensual eating experiences.
Make sure to tune in to the season finale and prepare to ask yourself the all important question, "What is my chocolate habit doing to me?" when What's Really In Our Food? screens on Tuesday, November 10th at 8pm on 3.
